SEAFRONT PROPERTY OVERLOOKING

ST BRELADE'S BAY

CONSTRUCTION TO COMMENCE IN 2024

This commanding building plot has required an architectural design solution to match the quality of its setting. Sustainability has once again been at the core to the architecture proposed, with many of the building elements being sourced from outside the UK, principally Italy. The proposals also include a Channel Island first, with the addition of a major exterior glass wall, which disappears into the basement to open up the interior entirely to the sea views.

The plot has been conceived in a boundary-to-boundary manner to ensure that full use is made of the area available and that the architecture, interior design and landscaping all co-ordinate. Care has been required in the detailing of the dwelling and its surroundings to provide privacy to the occupants while still allowing clear views of the Bay.

The relatively simple external architectural style deceptively masks the complexity to the engineering solutions employed for the basement and the superstructure. The interior design concepts have also been very rigorous in their detailing, and have sought to imbue the internal rooms with as much character as possible. The servicing requirements to the entire project have had to be thoroughly integrated within the physical constraints of the development to ensure that best use is made of the area and space available.
